Fröken Selfoss is located on the lower square in the new town center of Selfoss. Here, we create exceptional food and cocktails with a focus on Icelandic ingredients. We are a moderately "fine" dining restaurant, emphasizing friendly service and delicious, visually appealing dishes and cocktails.

In addition to our restaurant, we offer comprehensive catering services. We handle all types of events, such as annual celebrations, weddings, incentive trips, corporate parties, birthdays, graduations, confirmations, dinner parties, midwinter festivals, and travel packages—whatever the occasion. We can set up events anywhere, from outdoor locations in nature to venues provided by our partners, just to name a few options.

We have prepared menus that suit most events, and we can also provide servers and bartenders upon request.

At ÁB Catering, we are continually developing new dishes and ideas that could debut at your event. Our inspiration comes from seasonal ingredients, always using the freshest available at any given time. This is then enhanced with expertise, experience, and modern flavor combinations, where freshness, healthiness, and great taste take center stage.

ÁB veitingar ehf is a company owned and operated by Árni Bergþór Hafdal Bjarnason & Guðný Sif Jóhannsdóttir.

Árni is a chef & waiter who has extensive catering experience, from huge banquets for large events and conferences, down to private catering for individuals, he has worked in many different food & beverage areas in his career.

Guðný is the marketing manager and concept designer of ÁB veitinga ehf, which is the company behind Fröken Selfoss and Groovís - Ice cream & donuts.
